Empowering Communities: Launching GBV Champions Training in Mukurweini

We are excited to launch our GBV Champions Training Program, a transformative initiative to strengthen grassroots advocacy and intervention in Mukurweini Constituency. Through this project, we will train 20 champions across the four wards, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to raise awareness, support survivors, and advocate for justice within their communities.

This training aligns with our core activities, including awareness campaigns, rescue and advocacy, substance abuse prevention, and civic education. By embedding trained champions at the village level, we ensure that communities have trusted advocates who can educate, intervene, and guide survivors toward the necessary legal, medical, and psychological support.

With GBV remaining a critical issue, community-driven action is essential. This initiative empowers individuals to be the voice for the voiceless and create a safer, more informed society. Together, we are taking a bold step toward ending violence and fostering a culture of justice and protection for all.
